Jonathan LeVine Gallery is seeking two bright, motivated and organized students for internships. The ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to multi-task and work in a creative environment. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and HTML is preferred. He or she must be personable, articulate, and comfortable representing the gallery at events and openings.
Internships with Jonathan LeVine gallery are unpaid, however we do pay for lunch on the days that you work. Studentsmust be enrolled in a college or university and receive academic credit for the internship. Individuals must be able to commit to a minimun of 1 day a week (11am – 6pm) for a minimum of one semester. We would prefer an undergraduate student with an art history or other relevant major.
The following internships are available IMMEDIATELY:
Communications Intern – works directly with gallery publicist on updating press list and online press section, researching media contacts, and assembling press mailing and press kits.
The Communications Intern must be able to work on Tuesdays or Thursdays.
Project Intern – assists the Project Manager in organization, planning and installation of exhibitions, art fairs, special events, publications and mailings. The Project Intern must be highly organized and have strong writing skills.
The Project Intern must be able to work on Wednesdays or Fridays.
