Video: 10yrs of Wooster Collective

This excellent video produced by Obey Clothing captures some of the highlights from the opening reception for 10 Years of Wooster Collective: 2003—2013, a group exhibition curated by Marc and Sara Schiller, at 525 W 22nd Street from August 7—24, 2013. The video also includes some footage of Shepard Fairey discussing Lotus Woman, a large-scale public mural the artist created as part of the Dumbo Walls project, while in town for the exhibition.

Shepard Fairey mural in Dumbo

In conjunction with 10 Years of Wooster Collective: 2003—2013, a group exhibition curated by Marc & Sara Schiller, Los Angeles-based artist Shepard Fairey created a large-scale public mural for Dumbo Walls. His piece, titled Lotus Woman, is located on York and Prospect Streets near the York Street subway station (F train line), in Brooklyn. Here are some photos documenting the process, shot by Daniel Greenfeld, courtesy of Dumbo Improvement District.
