Fabio D’Aroma was born in 1973 in Pescara, Italy and is currently based in Houston, Texas. He graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome in 1997 and in 2001 was chosen as the “emerging artist” from the region of Abruzzo for the Pitture a Confronto, an exhibition in Piazza di Spagna in Rome. He moved to New York the following year. D’Aroma has had solo exhibitions in Chicago and New York, as well as participated in numerous group exhibitions in Florida, Texas and France. In 2008, D’Aroma won the Grand Prize from International Artist Magazine and in 2012 his work was exhibited at the Station Museum of Contemporary Art in Houston.
